The Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta is a limited-edition hybrid sports car produced by the Italian automaker Ferrari. It is the open-top version of the LaFerrari, which was unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show to celebrate Ferrari's 70th anniversary.
The LaFerrari Aperta retains the same overall design and performance characteristics as its coupe counterpart but features a removable carbon fibre roof panel. The roof can be stored in the car's trunk when not in use, allowing for an open-top driving experience. Under the hood, the LaFerrari Aperta combines a naturally aspirated 6.3-litre V12 engine with an electric motor. The power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The car utilizes advanced hybrid technology, featuring a battery pack and electric motor that assist the engine during acceleration and provide torque fill during gear changes. It also incorporates regenerative braking to recharge the batteries and improve overall efficiency.
With its powerful hybrid powertrain, it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under three seconds and has a top speed of over 217 mph. Ferrari limited the production of the LaFerrari Aperta to just 210 units, making it an extremely exclusive and sought-after collector's car.
