Delivered new in France through Charles Pozzi and first registered on 6 May 1988, this 328 GTS is finished in Rosso Corsa over a black leather interior and features the desirable optional leather dashboard available at the time. While it had covered just over 4,000 kilometers, the car was acquired by a collector of the Cavallino Rampante marque and registered in 1993 as 7262 RZ 47, at which time it benefited from a major service carried out by Pozzi.
In 1997, the owner who would care for it for nearly 30 years, through to 2026, acquired the 328 GTS when it had covered only 8,200 km and registered it in the Ain region, at the foot of the French Alps, under the number 8850 VN 01. Regular servicing was meticulously recorded on invoices and by hand, while the technical inspections carried out every two years between 2001 and 2015, whose reports are on file, provide clear and consistent verification of the mileage. The owner subsequently added new vehicles to his collection, resulting in less frequent use of the 328 GTS. In 2023, at 19,355 km, a major service was carried out, including replacement of the timing belts, a full fluid service, replacement of spark plugs, filter replacement, and replacement of the ignition wiring harness, in preparation for passing the state inspection once again.
Prior to sale, the car benefits from a complete engine inspection, together with professional detail. It is offered with a French state inspection carried out in April 2026, as well as the last owner's service records. Such a low-mileage example is exceptionally rare, especially one retaining its original, numbers-matching engine and transmission, making it a highly collectible and investment-grade example of the legendary Ferrari 328 GTS.
